SEX DISCRIMINATION

Before a woman (or man, in the appropriate case) may sue their employer in court for sex discrimination, he or she must file a charge with a local agency and/or with the federal Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (“EEOC”). There are deadlines for filing charges, so employees who believe that they have experienced sex discrimination should consult with an attorney as soon as possible.
